📖 Surah Al-Mulk, Verse 1:
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِ ٱلْمُلْكُ
🔤 Word 1: تَبَارَكَ
(Tabaaraka)

“Blessed is He” or “Holy is He” — but more deeply:
“He who is full of blessings, infinite in goodness, exalted in glory.”
It comes from the root ب-ر-ك (B-R-K), which means blessing, abundance, holiness.Think of a spring that never dries — that’s barakah (blessing). This word shows that Allah is the Source of all blessings.
Meaning in Urdu:
برکت والا ہے وہ، یعنی اللہ تعالیٰ کی ذات مبارک اور پاک ہے، تمام برکتوں کا ماخذ ہے۔
Arabic Meaning (شرح):
هو الذي لا ينفد خيره، ولا تنقضي نعمته، وهو أعلى وأجل من أن يُوصف بكامل صفاته.

🔤 Word 2: ٱلَّذِى
(alladhī)

“The One Who” or “That which” — but specifically for a masculine singular being.
It’s a relative pronoun — like a bridge that connects two ideas.
Think of it as:
👉 “The One who…”
👉 “That which…”
For example:
- “The teacher who helps me” → the “who” is like ٱلَّذِى
- In our verse: “Blessed is He who…” → the “who” is ٱلَّذِى
It always refers back to someone or something already mentioned — in this case, Allah.
Meaning in Urdu:
وہ جو یا جس نے — جس ذات کی طرف اشارہ ہو رہا ہے، وہ اللہ ہے۔
مثال: “مبارک ہے وہ جس کے ہاتھ میں بادشاہت ہے۔”
Arabic Meaning (شرح):
هذا الضمير الموصول الذي يُستخدم للذكور المفرد، ويرتبط باسم قبله، ويفتح ما بعده للبيان.
يعني: “الشخص أو الشيء الذي يُوصف بفعل أو حال قادمة”.

بادشاہت، حکومت، اختیار، قبضہ
اللہ کی ذات پر تمام کائنات کی حکومت اور ملکوت کا مکمل اختیار ہے۔ وہی سب کا حاکم ہے، کوئی اس کے حکم کو چیلنج نہیں کر سکتا۔

الملك: هو التصرّف التام في المُلك، وهو ما يدل على السيطرة المطلقة على كل شيء في السماوات والأرض.

القدرة التامة على التدبير، التخلق، الرزق، الحياة، والموت.
